Looking at International Peace Day & it's almost as if these two powerful singers are singing for all of humanity...coming out of the dark into the light...leaving behind violence, war, greed, inequities into a world of loving kindness & peace.

I rearranged my schedule to watch this the night it aired LOL! They were both flawless! I also loved Chaka's performance of "Maybe I'm Amazed" in tribute to Paul McCartney.

thanks dear. =D i think it's always a delight to see Gloria live. And needless to say, I am a big Chaka Khan fan, and I love her to bits. They look and sound great together. Both their voices are two of the most recognizable instruments in the music world, each playing their own beautiful respective tunes. =D

I love how this duet was classy, soulful, and powerful altogether. I loved how they mindfully took turns shining in their own moments throughout the performance. I love how Gloria kept the song in its purest form and Chaka delivering soulful jabs and powerful adlibs to bring it on to another level - and Gloria hang on with our girl Chaka. They simply are magical together. Thank you for sharing this clip dear. =D
