Underneath the High Island A-389 gas rig located within the boundaries of the Flower Gardens National Marine Sanctuary, southof the Texas/Louisiana border. Restrictions on cleaning the rig inside the sanctuary have allowed a unique ecosystem to evolve on the structure since the 1980s. Filmed 8/16/09.   • Very cool video. I knew the Texas coast had coral (even if's mostly found on artificial reefs or tiny salt mounds).
