Bambi was so sad! Plus how they don't really show his mother die which makes it sadder. Bambi's mother said, no matter what happens bambi should return to their like hideout home so the first time the hunter was on the move bambi returned and bit later his mother too but on the brink of spring she yells "RUN BAMBI, RUN!" and while Bambi is running you hear a gunshot but bambi keeps going and his mother doesn't return. :'( then his dad meets him and raises him.
