With all eyes on Denmark for the Copenhagen climate conference, US Secretary of the Interior Ken Salazar took the opportunity to visit a Danish off-shore wind farm. If the US and other developed nations are to find ways to significantly cut their carbon emissions they'll likely need to invest heavily in alternate energy sources like wind.

@himsinitaly most of those 4800 generate ZERO electricity and just spin freely. CONSERVATION is the only way...the rest are just tax and rate scams!!!!!!

@electrickithara they do??? You mean after the tax subsides and the rip off electric rates granted to them at 5 times wholesale rates? Ever see the protests in Denmark? What do we do when the wind isn't blowing...or they get destroyed in a storm? Insurance won't cover over 90 mph...Salazar is a IDIOT!
