The enterprise was originally built in orbit at the San Francisco shipyards so why is it built on earth in the movie. How did they get the ship in orbit?? I know it's an alternate reality but I doubt if that would affect where the ship was built..

oooo look it's the movie critics in the comment section! i'm not gonna gonna analyse every detail of the movie like you all seem to be doing, whether it's the acting, CGI, plot or whatever, that's because i just like watching movies and decide whether i like them, or not, and i must say i really enjoyed this, simply as, isn't that what matters?

It's not about the action and the CGI, or even what the bridge would look like...it's about the story, and with the past few movies and series they've gone all over the place and "tech-talked" their way into plot-holes and boring storylines.
This is all about rejuvenating Star Trek at it's roots. Going back to the 60's when the show was popular all around, and making Star Trek a true piece of science fiction again.

Games ARE still being made, movies ARE still being filmed, of the environment has changed (Enterprise to Enterprise E) but only to compensate for the lack of animational technology that was present in the time.
Go find something better to do then to bother trekky fans.
By the way, all of technology is based on real possibilites, if you do not believe me then PM me and I will send you link for warp drive design and stuff - REAL DESIGNS NOT FAKE!!!
