  • Hello Scott is true that before putting the k tape should shave?

  • @Cigaro901 Ideally yes..

  • Interesting. I never tried to put the basis of the kinesio tape at the wrist. I always started at the elbow heading to the wrist. - If this does matter? I will try and find out.

  • You want to relax the wrist extensors for acute tennis elbow so you put the tape origin to insertion. Go to RIO if you want to relax, that's how I remember.

  • Where do you find or buy this tape??

  • Very interresting. I specialize in tennis players as a former nick bollereterri camper and 4.5 player, I'm well aware what tennis does to the body.

  • Thanks doc,

It didnt appear that you put the elbow in extension/wrist in flexion when applying the tape. Is that important? I want to sum up....Insertion to origin, 25% stretch, then one piece stretched maximally straight down on the extensor muscle group.

Also, any relation to nic swanson? You guys look alike!

  • mmm que buna vieja

  • you just wrote origin to insertion in your comment.
