maybe this was said already, but he should've jammed the gears so the box wouldnt lower. might even stop the crushing by creating a chunk of debris.

Dam too bad, this guy was like my 2nd fav char. Smart, cunning, and a little evil. At least his death scene was gory as hell. Gotta be up there for most painful death with Rack, williams death, pendulum and maybe the brazen bull.

@DrStrangebomb1993 True, but in that position i'd have the gun poised and ready just in case I couldn't escape, pulling the trigger when the inevitable was unavoidable. While the crushing would of only taken 5-10 seconds, a gunshot in 0.1 second would still be far less painful.
