Cheap and fresh. Refill you Nespresso capsules.
Watch out : it can dammage your machine!
(our extraction was a tad too short, try a 25sec one)

  • bah very sad, if you want your "own home brew coffee" you shouldnt have bought a nespresso machine

  • @mikevanstaveren it's not my machine

  • this is my job

  • why have a nespresso machine if you have to resort to this? very sad.

  • it's not my machine

  • Couple of questions:

    1. How does this damage the machine?

    2. What kind of damage are we talking about?

    3. How likely is the damage?

    4. How can the possibility of damage be minimized?

  • 1. and 2. It jams the machine.

    3. I don't know. We fixed it quickly. A friend of mine had the same. Someone never had any damage.

    4. Good question. Most honestly I never did it again. I'm a professional coffee man and have dozens of machines and hundreds of kilo's of coffee a week.

I just wanted to play around and show people an opportunity to save money.

  • this is waaaaaayyy too much water for an espresso...it's short..like just a sip..not a full cup ;)

  • Blimey I'd rather drink tea than go to all that hassle!

  • @zangin

your sarcasmometer needs some calibration -.-

  • @caffenation Bravo! What a great idea.

  • @zib3 What's sad about it? I think it's a great idea. Simple, and you can use your own coffee. I see no way how this could possibly harm the machine. The only issue I can think of is the hole where the water is injected will begin to widen after it's used many times...and the water might spill out some on the top.. but anyhow. Bravo to the guy who did and filmed this!! I'm looking forward to re-using my capsules.

  • I would think one would do it because the coffee itself in the nespresso pods is quite bad. This way you can get better tasting coffee. Then again, I myself just go with drip since it better than anything that will come out of a nespresso machine.

  • @Nurockie

very, very sad! i can't imagine anything being sadder than that :(! very sad QQ

  • een echte hollander volgens mij gewoon kopen die handel !!!

als je geld wil uitsparen koop dan toch gewoon een senseo dat is even smaakeloos kan je beter slootwater drinken
