  • Amazing!! 5 out of 5......They are all heroes in my eyes!

  • dude, nobody in their right mind would WANT to endure something like that. i mean who wouldn't be inspired by that kind of honor, they are heroes that changed the entire face of history. But when they actually did it there was no music playing in the background and im sure they all wanted to come home as soon as possible. They did it so we don't have to.

  • What If these warriors didnt fight . maybe german still had the power on earth. These peoples are heroes . And i have full respect for them and all who fought against germany!

  • Darusdei, Your comments are unnecessary. The USA made the largest araments deal with Finland during the Winter War, and much did not reach Finland in time because the Winter War did not last very long at all and ended with the Soviets poised to overrun Finland, hence Finland made peace and lost territory to the USSR. This is a thread about D-Day, not the Winter War.

  • Great video, it shows what heroes are made of God bless

  • Das Recht jeder gesagt, dass Amerikaner gewann die Invasion der Normandie, saugt dazu führen, dass sie versuchten, damit sie sehen aus wie Helden, außer sie sind jetzt nur Lügner.

  • Soviets Attacked Finland with a force almost 3 times larger than the allied assault on the "d day" the Finns kept their ground and independence.

250000 soviet losses and same amount as wounded.

American and British observers said "Finland Destroyed Russians military might and has proven to be an adversary not to be taken lightly"

American Jack Hisey was presented the Finlands highest honor, the liberty cross

(he was one of few American volunteers who helped Finland in its hour of need)

  • Thats what bravery is in reality. Being as scared as is possible but doing the job anyway. The difference with this war compared to modern warfare is the Germans were as good as our guys and better armed try going against that lot knowing most of the first few tens of thousands of you were doomed.

  • Most Honorable

if I had to fight in any war id wish it could have been WWII in France against the nazies
