Tomb Raider: Anniversary Abomination Boss

Walkthrough for defeating the giant mutant (a.k.a. Torso Boss, Big Legless, etc.) in the Final Conflict level of Tomb Raider: Anniversary. Includes step-by-step instructions for the adrenaline dodge and headshot maneuver.

ADDITIONAL TIPS:

If Lara is swallowed by the mutant, start shooting inside the mutants belly and hell barf her up. (Yuck!)

The mutant also pounds the floor with its huge butt. If you jump just as the butt is about to come down, you can avoid being knocked over by the shockwave.

When using the adrenaline dodge, its possible to dodge forward, backward, left or right, but for this fight, where you want to avoid going over the edge or hitting a wall, its usually best to dodge to either side.

Depending on how much damage you do each time, you may need to repeat these maneuvers several times in order to destroy both claws on its left hand. Once thats done, you only need to lure it over the edge one more time. Then just keep shooting the right hand until it lets go.

@dodgedaytona25 This shouldn't be any different here than in the previous levels. Maybe try changing the combat mode to Advanced Toggle (in the Options Menu under Controls) or just hold the target lock button to maintain a lock.
