Raine started singing lower and with less of his "crazy voice" because Bob Rock told him during the "Gravity" sessions that it sounded "like shit" and he'd "never be taken seriously" as a forty year old with that voice. so he started singing more mainstream and normal. essentially I think Bob Rock should be kicked in the yam bags for telling him that
