Change happens. Be prepared. Economies are globalizing. The Internet is changing everything. If you are standing still, you may get passed by or even run over.
You may be saved by the action of others. You may not. Give yourself the gift of self-reliance and you won't be taken for granted. Take responsibility for your own career. Open your eyes and your ears. Alert and aware, prepare yourself. In the real world of business, it is naïve to believe anything except that you work for youself.
