I just had my DE VILLE refurbished - new hairspring, cleaning, etc. after a timing problem. It looks as sharp as ever. Mine has a brushed gold face though. Well worth the very expensive cost.

My father received this watch as a gift in early 1965 and left it to me. I wear it every day. Great video. Thanks.

I preffer dont wear my watches, i use a Citizen or Seiko for the daily life, My fathers watch, a simply AS1130 is keep for safe in a furniture and never in my life i wear it. how did you open de case?

@blakabakra First of all you must retire the sterm and crown. Pull out so strong. Don´t worry, you don´t broke the sterm or the setting lever. Them retire the glass so carefully. It putting there with pressure and them you can see inside a groover who turn liberate the movement. Hope i help you. VFROWNER
