Gwen Cooper reflects on The Doctor and the sad state of the world, as the government takes 10% of the children population of Earth away to be given to a mysterious group of aliens known as the 456.

And yet, you have to wonder, what happened to the rest of the 456, surely their homeworld must've been rather angry that their main source of a high was cut off rather suddenly, and began preparing retrubution.

The answer was simple.

The Doctor found out.

That's bullshit. The Doctor has said several times how much he loves the human race. He can't do it this time because he can’t be everywhere at once. He can’t do everything for you. Sometimes the human race has to clean up their own messes. In fact, that’s her job.

@toastknight Yeah, WE know that. This is a TV show, and she barely knows the doctor. Pretty sure these are all assumptions on her part.

She's so over dramatic. The Doctor ALWAYS saves Earth. The only reason they didn't bring him in was because The Doctor can save the day without killing anyone and Torchwood always goes the overcomplicated way. honestly, They killed Tosh, Owen and Ianto (the best characters)... its time to kill Gwen too, to make it fair.

Of course he wasn't there. He was having tea with Gandhi followed by transporting Amelia Earhart to the planet Barcelona, and then helping a young Donna Noble reach 100 words per minute making her the best temp in Chiswick. It was a busy hour and a half.
