Hashmal Zorem was originally a hit for Ruti Navon in the 70's, the period in which the film Medurat Hashevet was filmed. This is the version that Tami Gerlick dances to in the film. The Riki Gal version plays at the end of the film during the credits. Instead of the movie scenes, I could watch Riki Gal play with that microphone for the whole three minutes. Any man who watches this video knows exactly what Riki Gal is really playing with. For me, this version is The Great Hashmal.
