A BAROQUE MUSICIAN´S PERSONNAL VERSION
of the famous piece by Érik Marchelie (*1957)

played by Siegfried Andreae - Vihuela
(built by Martin de Witte, Den Haag 1999)

one point stereo recording (without any "mastering") in the small church of Motzen (Dorfkirche Motzen, Mark Brandenburg) with its outstanding acoustic properties, ca. 20 km south of Berlin.

The background video shows a flowering giant exemplar of Anemone japonica (hupehensis var./hybr.) in our garden in Berlin/Germany last summer.

  • Hi Trond, you are welcome, any time, and a happy new year!

this cute instrument seems to play by itself, you only need to listen to it and to imagine some tunes "inegale" tunes.

    Greatings - S.

  • The vihuela sounds beautiful. It is a great idea to record it in a church. Thanks for sharing this very nice arrangement.
