Handfishing Illegal in Missouri

Handfishing is a fishing method that people go into the water where the fish are nesting or resting... usually under a log or under a rock or in a hole, and use their hand to grab the fish and pull from that hole. It's sometimes called noodling.
By targeting the largest fish in the population during the breeding season, the activity is considered potentially harmful to Missouri's catfish by fisheries professionals.
Handfishing has been illegal in the state of Missouri since 1919.

I guess they have no more catfish in oklahoma since it is legal there!!! I think it should be legal in mo so i wouldnt have to drive across state lines to enjoy grabbin!!
