Check the books make it so the pages are facing towards you and press X, the books will open and give you the 2 medals you need to get into the lab.

i don't remember this scene from resident evil directors cut....but i wouldn't know i downloaded it off of ps3 store. so i'm not sure if it's altered or not

I have it for the PS3 and beat arrange mode twice but no unlimited ammo magum is it because I played as jill? and how do I save my teamates?

You don't get infinite ammo on all weapons except the Magnum by beating the game on Arrange and saving everyone. The Rocket Launcher with infinite ammo can be obtained by beating the game on Arrange in under 3 hours. This applies to any character.
To save both make sure to find all 3 MO discs. Also it depends on which decisions you make when your asked.
