GOP's Big Secret is Out: Medicare is "Govt-Run Healthcare" - MSNBC Lawrence O'Donnell - Culberson

MSNBC's Lawrence O'Donnell interviews GOP Congressman from Texas: John Culberson . He agrees that Medicare is Healthcare run 100% by the U.S. Government. He seems to understand the need for social safety nets. But his deceptive practice, used by almost all Republicans, is to denounce any aspect of the President's Health Insurance Plan for All American Citizens -- as being "Socialism". The secret truth, though, is that MEDICARE and SOCIAL SECURITY are both socialist programs enacted by the United States Congress. No one has any issue with MEDICARE being government-run health care (SOCIALISM). Yet extend similar health coverage to all Americans under the age of 65, and the GOP suddenly finds a Medicare-like program for all Americans to be EVIL. This is what they call it. Does it makes sense to you? Think about why they would come up with this scare tactic: Who benefits? What big Corporations stand to lose their protected profits if Americans opt for Medicare-like coverage vs Private Insurance? Seen through that lens, it is all very simple to understand the phoney outrage. Completely phoney, deceptive lies to American citizens.

O'Donnell needs to have his own 1hour show on MSNBC! MSNBC-that's all I watch because they are more in tune w/what I believe!CNN has gone commie w/Dobbs leading the way-they should join FOX! It's too bad MSNBC is cable only--America needs to know the truth! In the west, 2pm=Chris Matthews; 3pm=Lion of the Left Ed Schultz (great show!); 4pm=Matthews again but how about O'Donnell hour? 5pm=Countdown w/the great Olberman then 6pm=Maddow show! All great!! Maybe even a show like a PhilDonahue format!
