Fenwick level crossing, near Doncaster, South Yorkshire.
Friday 6th May 2011.
Loco's & DMU's featured: 6201 "Princess Elizabeth", 43312, 43317, 66094, 66598 & 180109.

An hour or so spent at Fenwick level crossing on a fine Spring afternoon whilst waiting for 6201 "Princess Elizabeth" on the first day of Steam Dreams' "The Cathedrals Explorer. First though, some video's of regular East Coast Main Line traffic, starting with 180109 heading north on a London Kings Cross to Hull service. Next is 66598 on a northbound coal working from Immingham to either Eggborough or Ferrybridge. Next is a passing of HST's, as the on-hire East Midlands Trains set (with one EMT and one East Coast power car) heads south, and a full East Coast set heads north, lead by 43317. Next is another East Coast HST, heading north, followed by 66094 on a loaded coal train from Immingham for either Eggborough or Drax. Lastly, 6201 accelerates it's train after being checked behind the DB Shenker coal train, heading north on 1Z17 London Victoria to York, running on time.

Note: This was my last video in Standard Definition, as shortly afterwards, this camcorder gave up the ghost! All video's after this one are in High Definition.
