You really can't judge a performance from a phone video. I just saw Tony perform last week and 'Rio' was fantastic - and I was a huge DD fan in 82/83. I agree this clip sounds awful, but the real experience is completely different. If you get a chance to see him, just go.

they have very different voices so..i really think its pretty good..and its quite nice to watch Spandau vocalist playing such homage to dd..beatifull

The Spandau voice/style doesn't suit DD or Rio, but fair play to him for trying.... I just don't see Simon singing 'True' though.
