LITTLE WONDER #523 issued in 1917. The 'LITTLE WONDER' record label produced 5" records, which were sold in five-n-dime stores for ten cents. These records typically have average or slightly below average sound for the period and were very popular due to their quality and low price. Played on a VICTOR TALKING MACHINE VV VI. Just a thought; I wonder what this unrecognized piccolo player would have thought if someone in 1917 had said to him, "In ninety years your performance will be transmitted instantly worldwide over this thing called the Internet and received and processed through devices called computers for millions to hear and enjoy". Perhaps he would have replied, "Show me the money!"
