You probably already know, but it's extremely obvious that the huge cat (Elvis?) is a Maine Coon. They're an American breed, coming from sailors' cats breeding with domestic American kitties. There's a myth that the came from interbreeding with raccoons. Maine Coons can weigh over 20 pounds without being overweight, and they are playful all their lives.
