Katie Holmes sucks at acting. Maggie's face looks like it's about to fall off in TDK. I wish they could have gotten someone like Emily Blunt for the role. Good looking and a good actress. The whole package.

Well the chemistry between Katie and Bruce was part of the plot, now, wasn't it.
As far as i remember Maggies Rachel had way other problems and man in mind.
Yes, No?
Did we watch the same movie?

I didnt like Katie. She was nothing bu a cute girl. I hardly remember 2 scenes with her although i watched BB 2 weeks ago. SHE made Rachel so borring!
Maggies Rachel might not be as pretty and sexy as Kates but in some moment she is. Like every normal woman has moments in her life where she wants to be superior. That has nothing to do with trying too hard. Its reality.
Imagine Katie as a clever lawyer, a real person, imagine her as the Rachel Maggie created. HA! She would've SO FAILED.

I echo the critics and the people going by Katie over Maggie. GF's for superhereoes is about chemistry and Katie had that.
Katie was the real girl next door. Maggie was trying too hard. She even acted hot and sexy when she's NOT.

I think the reason that Maggie Gyllenhaal and Katie Holmes sucked was because the character wasn't written that well

Actually, Katie was the only bad thing in Begins. Maggie took the role and made it better. For one thing she had more character. When I look at Katie in Begins, I just wanna slap her because she's a fucking arrogant bitch. ''Some of us have work to do'' or ''You're father would be ashamed of you'' followed by an arrogant grin. Katie was a bitch in Begins. Maggie was way better and I can't understand these people who think otherwise. They're just Katie fans to begin with (no pun intended).
I can't believe people thought Katie Holmes was a better Rachel than Maggie Gyllenhaal, arguable one of the best actressess of our generation.
I didn't dislike Katie as Rachel but Maggie brought much better acting, class, dignity and beauty to the role. Katie was emotionally bland. Maggie brought anger, disbelief, happiness and warmth to the role.

How the hell could you hate Maggie, look at her face, she is so adorable, And she is a much better actress than katie. I totally felt maggie and christian's connection. Katie was fine, But maggie is Better... IMO
