  • @BuckoA51 The Amiga may have had a more sophisticated sound chip but in my opinion the music on the Amiga version of RR sounds drab, boring and monotonous.

The Mega Drive version on the other hand (produced by the very talented Rob Hubbard) sounds funkier and a bit more varied. Sometimes it's not all about the technical aspect behind the music but how it makes you feel when listening to it. ;)

  • Who ever came up with this game was way ahead of there time

  • THREE HOURS?! :-o

  • I hated it when a car came out of nowhere and smacked you off your bike. And so began the hike back to your lifeless bike....awesome game, though.

  • @Daniel100Benner

Which is why they fixed her look on Road Rash II and Road Rash 3: Tour de Force.

  • Hmm. The graphics destroy the Sega Genesis/MegaDrive version. Music as well.

    Not surprised =)

  • @andyukmonkey You have no idea what you are talking about, the Megadrive's sound chip was paltry compared to the Amiga's. The amount of sound channels is irrelevant, the Amiga more than makes up for this with sampled sounds as opposed to the 'bleep bleep' artificial chip sounds of the Megadrive. You can do sample mixing to produce eight channels from the Amiga's four quite easily. Also the Megadrive has 8 sound channels not 10.

  • Sorry to bug you with one more question, but why is it that sometimes Natasha has a serious look on her face and sometimes she smiles at you?

  • Funny, U always thought Natasha was a nice girl in that game when I used to have it.

  • I can't help but wonder if that is Natasha on the float in that lake part.
