Education Action Group attended the recent "Occupy Chicago" protest held in Chicago, IL on 10/10/11.

While there, we bumped into the Communist Party USA. They had been marching alongside their close ally, Democrat Representative Jan Schakowsky.

I agree that Communism and Fascism share some similarities: Both were created by hate (well in the case of communism I fully agree with the hateful because they had been forced to work hard under extremely perilious conditions so their greedy boss could gain more profit, also they only got a small amount of what they produced) On the other hand Capitalism (AKA Exploition of the Weak and Poor) /Imperialism (the worst form of CAPITALISM) and the politics of Nazi Germany AND Soviet= same shit

If you want freedom, you should want the right to have a say in how your workplace is run, and the right to receive the full value of your labor, the right to not be dictated by a profit-driven boss. To argue that the 'free market' is in any way curbing demand for finite resources is laughable and insulting to intelligence.

@michaelwuzthere I'm sure that not "giving up individual liberties to a totalitarian state" is what all communists had in mind when they first went down that road, yet that's where they ended up every single time. What it is about true capitalism, voluntary exchange, and free market libertarianism that gives up freedoms? I know it's easy to spout out nonsense, but have some discretion. How could you reasonably protect finite resources without a free market price system to curb demand?
