Honda's sound better than this...I know you get extra power from the headers, but that's like trading a manual for a pussypaddle gearbox because you get to 60mph in 0.03 seconds less. Where's the passion and soul of this car? The sound.

Funny how every is always talking of this boxer rumble. Look up Porsche or VW and listen to their exhaust notes. What you guys are talking about is actually due to header design not the actual engine.

@dlogfx And if you don't believe me, head over to IWSTI and look at the Power Bragging and Fastest Time forums. Above all the people making the most power and the people with the fastest times are either using stock headers or an aftermarket UEL header.

@dlogfx Oh bullshit, extra power? Show me a dyno chart, I doubt you're making any more power than a regular stage 2 setup. I'd say something like 305whp max.

PnP'd stock headers + ceramic coat + heat wrap is the best you can do. All that EL headers making more power rumors are total bullshit. There have never been actually dyno charts or drag times that prove it. The fastest STIs use UEL headers, fuck even the fastest stock turbo STI uses stock headers.

I know that EL is the way to go for max power, but I love my boxer rumble way too much to give it up for some extra ponies. Def makes the car more WRC like though, with the harsh rasp, but I think I'll be going UEL when I have the spare cash to pick up some headers. Very sick subi though man! Way better than those p.o.s ricers running fart can exhaust, slammed suspension, and automatic trannies...
