Hurricane Katrina: Shrimpers of Waveland

In November 2005 I visited Waveland, Mississippi and found these Shrimpers who had ridden out the hurricane on their shrimping boats in order to save the boats. They tell their tale while unloading the days catch.

This was so cool for me. I left just before it hit after being there 20 years in NOLA.

It was great just hearing these guys talk. I worked on their level in the auto-truck-bus repair field. Some marine and these guys are the real deal.
