I wonder if you're like me (E.D) I always thought Justin was singing about God & His creation, which He loved so so much. I believe Justin to be somewhat religious from his songs.

Beautful piece of music artwork! I`ve played this song almost everday while being in the Dutch Forces back in the mid`70`s!! Grand memories and an emotional piece of music, especially the words give me the chills and touches not only my heart, but also my soul and at times, even makes me cry....Well done Moody Blues...a song forever in my heart!!!

watching and waiting was a released as a single in 1969 but never did much. if music videos had been around and /or the internet, the moddies likely would have been even more popular than they became jus thru their live performances.

this song was a real masterpiece concocted on a pipe organ in the decca studios - mike pinder added the mellotron overlay and justin hayward put down the vocals - the song was a ray thomas /hayward collaboration. just didn get the airplay or live play .

@moonlitme I don't know what the fuck you are talking about but I guess you think the Moodies are fantastic in which I agree with you. I guess you are saying what I feel that their music is spiritual but you need to be less cryptic to express your point..
