Sony Vegas 9: how to mute and unmute gaming audio

hey guys
first of all please dont make harsh comments unless they are constructive and will help me in later tutorials. i dont have a microphone so you will have to make do with following my mouse :P

im pretty sure i'm being a dumb ass but last night i watched a clip on vegas sound and video was fine uploaded to youtube, all good. I go onto vegas this morning put a clip into the timeline video works audio is there but doesn't work. I opened the trimmer and the sound works in there? but not in the timeline help?

@WatsonsVenture Hey man, not sure if this is the problem but try right clicking on the audio and go to switches and untick mute (if its ticked) because the way I show it in this tutorial is muting the whole games audio... if this doesn't help inbox me and i'll try and get back to you

Dude! I want to mute just 1 part o audio, not all my audio ... How can I do this?

@TheGpaFilms right click on the audio of the 1 clip u want muting, then go to properties and then tick the mute box :)

I dont have audio, i pressed something, and now the audio clip is gray but i can press mute and unmute and there is still no sound.

@QueTipProductions right then, cllick on the audio of the clip that is grey. right click and go to properties. then under switches untick mute.hopefully this works.

yeah but i lose my sound, look i wanna make video repeat and when i mute music and i drag clip on music, there is no sound at ALL, why? how can i play sound with the clip? sorry for my noobish english btw
