  • @ssgo007 y cuanto dinero te roban a vos?

  • NUTRIENTS (N and P) are the problem.

MICRO Nutrients (Fe, etc.,) are the solution.

    Nualgi contains Silica.

Only Diatoms require silica, so only they will bloom.

    Ventilators are manmade solution.

    Diatoms are a natural solution.

In nature how do fish get oxygen and food?

Diatoms are responsible for 50% of oxygen and 50% of food in lakes and oceans.

Nualgi has been used for past 5 years.

Diatoms are present in all waters in the world, Arctic, antarctic, pacific, etc.

  • Adding micro nutrients is what caused the main problems. What if other species bloom too? Wanting simple and fast solutions is the main problem in this lake (and in most Guatemala). Did you know how much the "ventilators" installed cost, and what happened to one of them the next day of its installation? That was an example of a simple solution that didn't work. We need to study & think very well before investing in something that has worked in other places, it's relative when it comes to nature.

  • It is that simple. :)

We are not introducing any new species.

Diatoms present in the lake will bloom.

We are not adding diatoms only silica and micro nutrients.

Nualgi will work in any lake, river, esturary, ocean, etc., anywhere in the world.

There is not an iota of doubt about this.

All oligotrophic lakes have dominant blooms of Diatoms, we are only bringing back the diatoms and not doing anything new.

Unfortunately people do not want simple solutions.

  • Is not that simple. When you introduce a new species, specially into a previously oligotrophic lake, you have to take into account many other factors such as pH, temperature, NO2, NO3, PO4, plankton species, macro-vertebrates species, water resilience, cyanobacteria's behavior and life cycle and many others. It can't be affirmed it'll work in this lake too.

  • Please see our video about Nualgi.

This is good solution to the problem of Cyanobacteria blooms.

We cause a controlled and steady bloom of Diatom Algae to prevent sudden blooms of Cyanobacteria.

Diatoms do not accumulate in water and they increase the Dissolved Oxygen level.

Diatoms are consumed by zooplankton and these by fish, thus fish population will increase.
