  • I have enjoyed this video Pickersinc11 thanks. I have been medically retired and my wife had a brain tumor. So its been rough these days. And I do have been inspired by the Show Storage Wars. A great treasure will pop out some times. I also have had my Locker Sold one time when i was young.LOL Anyways. I just started looking into obtaining a business. If you have any thoughts to share with me on how to get started please let me know. My wife and i would appreciate it thanks

  • @specialInspectorII - Hi special inspector, I had a unit sold - it was a 10 by 20, LOl flea markets are a good way to make a living but hard work, thrift stores, and auctions are also, if limited as to what you can pick up, you can do "smalls" as I have gotten older I like "smalls". If I can answer any questions for you or direct you - please ask and it would be my pleasure to help. Jack the Unknown Picker, we have another chanell with good info - balance2scale, on youtube.

  • Did you say they got the bulk of their current inventory from storage lockers? Where are they accquiring new items? From the video, the variety of their inventory for such a short time is amazing.

  • @pixiestix55 new stuff is eas to get in quanity, but most come from auctions. jack

  • @pixiestix55 just noticed what you ask about the new stuff, he gets that at auctions and swap meets, and is getting ready to buy "store returns" sorry that took so long for me to understand. thanks - jack

  • @pixiestix55 that was less than a year ago, they have been in the store for about 8 months and are makeing a good living. They are a good team, Elaine is great with people. Getting bigger everyday and improving the store. I have always had great luck with storage units, I am good friends with them but they are fast learners and use terapeak and computer for research. They still call me and ask about some things. We will talk of some of the "scores we got from the units" in future videos'thanks

  • @pixiestix55 still pick and have 6 or 8 stops. I met them at this store and took a likeing to them. They were desperate and worked so hard. Rich didnt like buying storage units because he never did well. So I showed him how to buy them and and we did really well for them. We will tell more about what we got for him. We bought 12 to 15 units and thats how he got the larger bank roll to get his house and store. He rarely buys units because of the big prices they go for now. cont

  • @pixiestix55 Hi- When I met them Rich had lost his job and their unemployment was running out, and they lost their home. He was cleaning houses out and selling the "stuff" at the swap meet. They met this guy who had a store and he let them sell it in the back of his store, in return, Elaine would run the cash register for the store and rich just did any labor he could, he then started getting "stuff " from craig's list for free. - I dont have a real routebut(cont)

  • @ounitproductions -these people worked day and night for 6 or 8 months and now work, 12 hours a day. thanks for the nice words. jack
