I learned actions to "Our God is an awesome God" at camp or in Sunday school or something and I still do them to this day. So much fun.

@rustedromeo A religion is a set of beliefs, basically. Atheism is technically a religion. Christianity is about a relationship more than it is about the ritual of the Old Testament. Islam isn't about a relationship with Allah, it's about the Pillars, which are essentially rituals if you're just doing them to do them. Christianity is about getting to know God personally, not just obeying. It's about grace.

I guess we just change what religion means when you talk about your own religion so it's better than the other bullshit stories out there.

I've played for years in the bands at my church, and I have to say that "Our God Reigns" is just one of the most monotonous, boring praise songs out there. Another is "Hosana" We still play both. I play bass, and those two songs seem to drag out like giving an angry cat a bath. There are some good older ones (other than hymns), you just have to look away from most of the popular songs of that time.
