  • @xcannabiscom The point is to leagalize it first. We can work out the kinks in the system later.

  • I am torn on this issue. Because as I see marijuana certainly no more harmful than wine, I cringe to think it would be assigned some sort of extra sin tax or some kind of regulations that would require blood testing for impaired driving, or something of that sort.

I am well aware that cannabis does not cause most people driving impairment. Certainly for the ones that it does impair, it does not impair them like alcohol. I don’t believe it should be taxed any more than fruits or veggies.

  • The fact that the Like Wine people dont update their website that often is not a good sign. I dont think they have a good ground operation. It took them a month just gather 20k signatures... We need 800k by march people, and it aint going to get done at this pace.

  • does neone know where to see that painting of shiva gettin raped by alex gr

  • We were so close in 2010 with Prop19 (46.2% Yes votes) that we can't stop now! We are so close to a Cannabis revolution in California. Inform your online & offline networks.

Don't believe or pay attention to any one who says that "taxing" Cannabis is a reason to not vote for Cannabis re-legalization. They are just being selfish. With Marijuana still illegal, the excuse of not supporting because it will get taxed is stupid, weak, and opposes the chances of Marijuana finally becoming legal.

  • Regulate potatoes and sugars that kill and poison humans

    Regulate your self.!

  • @xcannabiscom Even if there was a sin tax on it the total would still be way lower than black/gray market prices. Also they could just use any normal type of feild test for impairment there's no need to drain your blood. Even if these things were to happen, wouldn't the good in this bill outweigh the bad? Why expect the first legalization bill to be completely perfect?

  • what about non violent crack, heroin or meth users.....

  • I had also read somewhere that California spends more on its jails than on its schools. Is that right?
