"April Love" was a number one song for Pat Boone during the latter part of 1957 written by Sammy Fain and Paul Francis Webster for the film of the same name starring Pat with Shirley Jones.
Pat Boone's April Love was the very first record [a 45] that I bought. I got it for my cousin Elizabeth for her 16th birthday present. Whenever I hear it Liz always comes to mind.
I first heard this songs being played on an old Philips Vacuum tube record player in the early sixties. Thank you for sharing.

Pat Boone has endured. Can you imagine those artists whom Obama admires to be writing a weekly newspaper column 50 years from today?
