POTTERS BAR STATION IN 1955. THIS WAS POTTERS BAR'S SECOND TRAIN STATION. BUILT IN 1955 AND DEMOLISHED IN THE 1980s OR 1990s (CAN SOMEONE CONFIRM THE EXACT YEAR FOR ME). THEN THE THIRD ONE WAS BUILT. THAT IS STILL THERE.
THE TUNE IS "CHERRY PINK AND APPLE BLOSSOM WHITE" BY EDDIE CALVERT, A HIT IN 1955, THE YEAR THE STATION WAS BUILT.

  • I was not aware the 1955 Station Was demolished. It still was there 1994 and was still around at the time of the Potters Bar rail crash. The main booking office was revamped and now forms part of an office block. but remains very much as rebult in 1955.

  • Does it matter?

  • When did railway stations become train stations?
