Yep, it runs at 50Hz, rather than the NTSC 60Hz. Typical, Europe gets shafted again!

emulation will never be 100% perfect, that's why as long as the machine lasts, go ahead and play its games on it.

Yeah so in my opinion the SEGA Mega Drive 2 model is better with clearer sound than the first Mega Drive model. But only I have the clear sound for the Mega Drive 2, for everybody else there gonna have the rough, distorted audio unless they open the console up and make some adjustments to the resistors with some speaker wire to the red and white RCA connections. That's what I did and I got clear sound, don't ask me why SEGA had rough audio for there Mega Drive 2 I don't know? They must be lazy.

Alot of people think the first Mega Drive was better cause it had the headphone/output jack on the front, and also has been known to output a clearer audio sound than the second Mega Drive. But I have a Mega Drive 2 model and at first it made a rough, distorded sound so I then opened it up and made some changes to the output of the soundchip with some speaker wire, and now it is clearer than the MD1. The audio is very clear both 16-bit and 8-bit audio with no distortion.

I grew up with the Mega Drive II - 1st game I had, Taz Mania Devil, lol! 1st sonic game I played was Sonic 2, then 1 & then 3 & Knuckles!
& Isn't the MDII like a sort of slimline version of the Mega Drive 1 (you know, like the Playstation with the PSone, PS2 & PS2 Slimline, GBA & GBA SP/Micro)?
Whats with the screen? (there is cyan all around the gameplay)

Cyan around the screen is probably because of the external TV tuner and SCART cable.
