Dutch Harp Festival 2012

The Dutch Harp Festival is back! After a very successful first edition in 2010, the international harp event returns to Utrecht in 2012.

In March 2010, the city of Utrecht became captivated by the harp through the unique combination of a harp competition and festival. With the first edition of the Dutch Harp Festival, a true revolution took place within the worlds of harp and classical music. Internationally acclaimed for its transparent and renewing organization, this event hosted thirty-two competitors and more than a thousand visitors from many different countries, together enjoying the numerous concerts, master classes and lectures.

In 2012, the Dutch Harp Competition and Festival will return in grand splendour. An astounding line-up of harpists and other musicians from all over the world will be accumulated to represent the many different genres of music throughout a second edition of the event. As March 2012 approaches, more details on the festival programme will gradually be disclosed on this web site.

Prepare yourself not only for a thrilling competition, but also for many phenomenal concerts. What to think of an All-Male Harp Night, or a long, temperamental evening of Spanish music?
