This short version of our experience in July 2011 when we stayed at Mott's Mountain Laurel on Bearwallow Mountain. It's more of a house than a cabin, three bedroom, two bathrooms, sleeps eight. This time, it was just my wife and I. The house is very private, with a gallery with a view of Little Pisgah Mountain, across the Hickory Nut Gorge in a little hamlet called Gerton. There are some wind chimes faint in the background. After a rain storm, a little bird chirping, and a wasp lands right in front of my iPhone, in search of spilled nectar from the hummingbird feeder. hope you enjoy it.
