  • how come every single one of these youtube videos start out with some weird and very loud electronic track ?

  • I don't like the fact that I preferred the dry signal to the eq'd signal in about every aspect. Harsh snare, VERY harsh cymbals, and I'm pretty sure there's not an engineer in the world that would have taken that much life out of the kick, especially with the insane presence boost and mid cuts he did to everything else.

  • A boost at 35hz? Dubious strategy...

  • @Dylannnnnnnn91 hes probably a mainstream producer... Thats how drums usually are in most mainstream music...

  • why can't people just buy the originals :D

  • very shitty sound

  • @nair0bij0nes only attenuated.

  • i have never added highs to my overheads, i've only ever attenuated high frequencies from overhead, never added.

  • @tdproductions2 kind of a small question with a big answer.

the "host program" he's working in is called Nuendo. Look it up on google. The 4 equalizers he's using are called "plugins", they're plugged in for the host software so to say. These particular plugins are from a company called UAD (universal audio) and, UAD is kind of a special case because their plugins only work if you install an extra hardware card for your pc. most plugins don't need this and just run on your computer's processor.

  • It´s great on guitars. The Neve plug ins are really good.

  • @tdproductions2 you need to get a UAD card (you can get a solo laptop which is portable or a quad or duo at any guitar center). then you can individually buy any of the plugins you want off the universal audio website. Its some great stuff!
