This video is a joint effort between Toytoypiano, Tsukaidaiku and myself.
Two years ago, on January 15th, 2008, Tsukaidaiku's brother Michael passed away after being diagnosed with a rare type of cancer. Michael was a copy editor for a newspaper, and he loved to travel. He loved New York and Japan and took pictures whereever he went. In the years before his passing, he chronicled his feelings and experiences around his disease in a blog, which also became an outlet for photos and poems that he shared with the world. Please take a look at his blog here : http://ohenrosan.blogspot.com/
As one with the Great Sky now, I hope you rest in peace, Michael. You will be forever missed.
For this video, the three of us collaborated and I hope we succeeded in making this a beautiful tribute on the anniversary of his passing. Toytoypiano not only provides backing vocals and bass guitar but also made this video with Michael's own pictures, and Tsukaidaiku, Michael's own sister, joins in with her wonderful voice, while I sing lead and strum the guitar track of Simon & Garfunkel's The Only Living Boy In New York.
I never met Michael, but he changed my life. Thank you for honouring him in this way.

Dear Eve, I wrote some comments on Gin and Nancy's channel but you deserve a special mention as you are the axis that sustain musically all this beauty: good for you! you'll must be very proud of this.
Michael's pictures show us what he saw and wanted to keep, and that lead us to his soul as well. Eve's voice has the shine and clarity to lead us through this emotional trip. Nancy's voice and presence has left her indelible touch to make this job to what was intended for.

This is exquisite and I am grateful to you beyond what my words can express. The sweetness of your voice helps to remind me that Michael is with the angels and that there indeed, are angels on the earth. Thank you, dear friend, for a most beautiful tribute to my brother. My family is too, very thankful to you and Gin!!!
