More than 20 years on, calls for the government to release documents about the 1989 Hillsborough Stadium tragedy will be debated in the House of Commons today.
An e-petition triggered the debate after getting more than 100,000 signatures.
Relatives of the victims of the disaster want to get to the bottom of whether there was a cover-up over the role of South Yorkshire Police.
They want full disclosure of all the documents relating to the incident including a briefing the police gave to then Prime Minister Margaret Thatcher.
96 Liverpool fans died after a crush at Sheffield Wednesday's stadium during a game in 1989.
Home Secretary Theresa May is expected to reiterate the government's "commitment to full transparency" through "full public disclosure."
