@danielcettour It was around 10-15 seconds per exposure. The total running time was several hours. Glad you liked it.

@phizer Lens is Canon 24-105 L f4.0 which is nice and sharp. But the key thing was the Canon 5D II - I needed a pretty sensitive camera to pick up the stars. I was pleased with the result though. Glad you liked it.

@phizer No, this was done with timed photos and then stiched into a movie. My main conern was keeping the camera warm enough to keep taking the photos. It was about -15 celsius out there!
