Did even play the game? Spoiler alert. The UAA is a scam set up by Sylvia & Henry. The ranking members were scammed out of their money into joining just as Travis was. I can't say the motivation behind why each member joined in the first place, but at least for Travis, it's just about being number 1. He wants to get to the top to call himself #1 and to get with Sylvia, out of narcissism and lust. Nothing more. It's complete satire of gamers and the reason they play games to finish them.

Literally every character, every scene, every line of dialog in No More Heroes deconstructs and pokes fun of video game tropes. It's, without a doubt, the smartest game I've ever played. It's just a shame that the general public and most reviewers didn't catch onto this and took the ENTIRE GAME at face value. Most saw it as nothing more than a bloody hack n slash with lightsabers with insane direction. If you really look into the satire of it all, there's so, so much more to it than that.

two things: 1) why did they change Sylvia's accent from American to between this trailer and the actual game

2) is the UAA an organization of assassins that are given assignments to kill important people, or an organization of assassins who just try to kill everyone above them to become #1, and if its the former wouldn't there be another way to become the top ranked killer without killer everyone who is above you?
