Menuhin is so different here!
I appreciate his extraordinary capacity to reproduce the popular interpretation of the melody. And this gives such a modern style isn't it?

Re: Gret sonata: Yes, they have very good character, but there are failed some sheets of music failed (halftone picture), and it´s a pity, I think. But it make sence really high quality record and of interesting sound.

great sonata!!!!!!!!!
I just played it,quite difficult,cause the parts are full of details and to join with pianist is really complicated.But a real delight to play it!
although,menuhin and menuhin are not so perfectionist with details,but it has the perfect caracter!Great!

George Enescu is God's gift to humanity.
Yehudi and Hephzibah Menuhin are amazing. This sonata in A minor, in the style of romanian folk music, is a masterpiece.
