Having a bunch of slaves singing and dancing about how much fun it is to pick cotton is horribly tasteless, and can only be compared to the famous "Springtime For Hitler" sequence from "The Producers". This song comes from a "George White Scandals" from the late 1920's. and was probably written by DeSylva, Brown and Henderson.

  • YOU'RE RIGHT...THE LYRICS ARE COMPLETELY TASTELESS. THE TUNE AND PLAYING OF IT ARE ANOTHER MATTER.... THANK YOU FOR SHARING.
