Bravo! I landed here after Googling "white brothers and sisters" because I refer to everyone in that manner occasionally. I'm linking this video on my website after I complete the rebuild.

@itsGOTtobegroovy I know the point. I wasn't talking directly to him. Just anyone who thinks Donald Trump means anything to White people. We don't even like Trump either.

do you see a parallel between Black people being dysphoric about their race, and biological females doing the same thing in the trans* community? "Being born black ruined my life". How many times have you heard biological females say this about being born female?

@EveryoneLovesAHero I don't see the parallel. Race is purely a social construct and racial attitudes are learned over time. Gender, on the other hand, is a mystery. We still don't know how people know what gender they are. Maybe it is something innate. Children as young as 2 have displayed trans-gender identification. I've yet to hear of a two year old black child claiming she is white. Racial attitudes are learned over time, internal attitudes about one's gender may not be.

@EveryoneLovesAHero Also, I have never heard a transmen saying that being a female ruined his life, though I've heard plenty say that being trans has.

I am not being a smart ass in asking this question. I'm trying to understand.
Why is it considered okay for a transgender person to express ideas of dysmorphia and see transition as a solution to that, but when that young man on Tyra is displaying classing dysmorphic signs, it is considered a sign of the effects of racism?
Why is it okay for a man to say that he hates his breasts and not be considered misogynistic, but not okay for a man to say he hates his nappy hair and have be racist?

@MsGoddessofoddness Good questions. My "Feminism, Womanhood, and Transition" video may help explain why transition isn't misogynistic, so watch it if you haven't.An ftm expressing gender dysphoria doesn't necessarily hate women.A black person expressing "racial dysphoria"(something that doesn't even exist from a medical standpoint) does hate black people.Gender transition is strictly a personal matter whereas the black ppl in these clips clearly express negative attitudes toward their entire race
