Why are all the deniers so infatuated with Al Gore? Gore is not scientist. It is clear most of the people commenting on this video have been duped...Which is really sad. It really is funny & sad that so many here are worried about a carbon tax when doing nothing will end up being far worse on the economy! Deny all you want but really will be undeniable in the coming decades & then most deniers will claim they were never deniers in the first place.

carbon tax is a clever way to trick people into paying a tax that will be used for creating a Global government. Also, some bankers will get filthy rich on it.Or, richer.

The same kind of people can be convinced to volunteer for the CO2 tax, who sign up to a petition to ban Dihydrogen Monoxide. :-)

If CO2 is a forcing, then how do you explain the fact that. for the last decade we have been cooling while the CO2 concentration keeps going up? The NASA website clearly states that, the mean annual temperature has been going down for the last ten years.

Water vapor in its Cloud form is the biggest forcing there is right aster the Sun itself. Even my dog knows to get in the shade to cool down. Look up Shaviv, Svensmark, etc...

@judomagyar CO2 is a forcing. Water vapour is a feedback. Learn the difference.

A carbon tax it is very likely the simplest and most efficient way to put a cost to carbon based fuels that will create market forces to push us to less damaging energy sources.You have a better solution than a carbon tax then present it. I'm not interested in your lame conspiracy theories.

@judomagyar This video does not demonstrate that there is no consensus. It shows a bunch of scientists trying to work outside their disciplines who apparently don't understand the basics of other disciplines. 97-98% of publishing scientists on climate concur with the IPCC. Not to mention all those national and disciplinary scientific organizations that agree with not a single organization against. The consensus is not unanimous but it is extremely strong and getting stronger.

@judomagyar That there are natural ups and downs is perfectly normal. As I said you need a statistically significant trend to be sure the trend isn't the background noise of natural variation. You won't get that from a ten year calculation.

CO2 does very little, the cloud cover is the immediate determinindg factor in ground temperature.

The problem is, cloud cover can not be taxed, CO2 can.
