"Watercolors" has been my favorite song since 1975...my guitr playing does her's no justice at all...and then when I saw her again in Feb. 2010, her playing is even more incredible! And her voice is ethereal...sublime...

I've always fancied myself to be a bit of a writer, courage has always been beyond my grasp, any words that I might use to describe Janis Ian would not due her justice, she is a gift from above, to me, she is a female Harry Chapin, amazing ability, a willingness to be totally honest and share herself totally with her audience, if you do not feel her pain when you hear this song, there is no hope for you
