Hollywood set design artist Dave Barnes ("The Sixth Sense", "Field of Dreams") designs and builds a new exhibit in the Reptile and Amphibian House at the Philadelphia Zoo to house a Cottonmouth Snake.

  • Designing and creating a zoo exhibit looks like so much fun! It involves artistic ability, and creativity, and it requires scientific knowledge.

    I wish the zoo would have a series of workshops to teach children and adults the basics of designing exhibits, including the steps that come before the ones shown in this video, so they can see how much work is involved, and maybe use some of what they learn to create special "habitats" for their pets at home!
